Autumn acorn walks are back
Every Thursday, small groups head to the oak hollow behind the centre to collect acorns, leaves and questions.

Our oldest children have started their autumn acorn walks. Wrapped in rain jackets and carrying small baskets, they follow Dev along the path behind the play yard to the oak hollow.
The walk has no worksheet. Children collect what interests them, sort it by size or colour on the way back and decide what goes on the nature table. Some come home with questions about squirrels; others with a pocket full of leaves.
Families are welcome to join one walk each term. Ask at the front desk to put your name on the list.
