About this room
In the preschool room, projects can last weeks. A question about worms becomes a wormery, a chart, a story and a trip to the compost bin, with every child contributing in their own way.
Teachers document what children say and make, and use it to plan the next invitation. Families see that documentation on the wall and in the daily note.
Mornings are mostly child-led; afternoons lean on the outdoors. Children leave each day tired in the good way.

7:00 am
Drop-off: choose a morning invitation such as clay, blocks or the light table.
9:00 am
Play: project time in small groups, with a teacher noting each child’s ideas.
11:45 am
Meals: lunch with conversation and cleaning up together.
12:45 pm
Nap: quiet rest, or books and puzzles for children who no longer sleep.
3:00 pm
Outdoor: the forest corner, garden jobs and big-body play.
5:00 pm
Wind-down: group story and sharing the day.
